About me
Ramaguru Radhakrishnan is an Assistant Professor at TIFAC-CORE in Cyber Security, which is located at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Coimbatore. He is also pursuing his Doctoral Research in Formal Methods for Blockchain Technology from the same institution. Additionally, Ramaguru is the Founder of the நம்Chain Open Initiative Research Lab, situated in Coimbatore.
Originally from Mettupalayam, Coimbatore, Ramaguru completed his Bachelor’s in Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology from Kumaraguru College of Technology in 2011. Following his undergraduate studies, he joined Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Private Ltd in Coimbatore as an Associate Software Engineer. He gradually progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer, specializing in System Testing and Test Automation for Automotive Infotainment Units. He also briefly worked in a similar capacity at Harman International in Bengaluru.
Driven by his passion for research and teaching, Ramaguru established Aksharam Training Academy and pursued a full-time Master’s degree in Cyber Security at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Coimbatore in 2017. Upon completing his master’s program, he served as a Lead Blockchain Engineer at Ensurity Technologies Private Ltd in Hyderabad. In this role, he contributed to the development of an in-house Blockchain Framework called CoEqual.
In January 2020, Ramaguru joined Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham as a Research Associate, focusing on Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrency. Subsequently, in September 2021, he became an Assistant Professor at the institution.
Ramaguru’s work encompasses various domains, including education, healthcare financial support, waste management, the Right to Information Act, recycling, and more. To disseminate his knowledge and raise awareness in these areas, he initiated several projects and organizations. These include the Kanavu Public Charitable Trust, Kuppai, Gandhimani Numismatics and Philately Club (GNPC), and Payanam.
