About me
Ramaguru Radhakrishnan is an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at the TIFAC-CORE in Cyber Security, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, and the Convenor of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at Amrita. He is currently pursuing his doctoral research in Formal Methods for Blockchain Technology at the same institution. He is also the Founder of the நம்Chain Open Initiative Research Lab, which focuses on open research and innovation in decentralized systems and blockchain technologies.
Hailing from Mettupalayam in Coimbatore district, he completed his B.Tech in Information Technology from Kumaraguru College of Technology in 2011. He began his professional journey at Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore, where he progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer specializing in system testing and automation for automotive infotainment systems. He also worked briefly at Harman International, Bengaluru in a similar role.
Driven by a strong interest in research and education, he established Aksharam Training Academy and pursued a full-time M.Tech in Cyber Security at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in 2017. After completing his master’s degree, he joined Ensurity Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, as a Lead Blockchain Engineer, contributing to the development of an in-house blockchain framework called CoEqual. He returned to Amrita in January 2020 as a Research Associate, focusing on blockchain and cryptocurrency systems, and transitioned to a faculty role in September 2021.
Beyond academics and research, he has been involved in community and social development initiatives across areas such as education, healthcare support, waste management, recycling, and public transparency. His work led to the founding and support of platforms including the Kanavu Public Charitable Trust, Kuppai, the Gandhimani Numismatics and Philately Club (GNPC), and Payanam.
At Amrita, in addition to his role as IIC Convenor, he serves as the Co-Convenor of Anokha Techfest and faculty coordinator for various student clubs and communities, including the Blockchain Research Interest Group, WiCyS Amrita Student Chapter, KOLECT, CybeReach, Amrita Model United Nations Society, and Amrita Toastmasters, supporting student development in technology, cybersecurity, leadership, and global engagement.
